This past weekend, at RepFest ’17 in Nashville, Avon announced the newest trip incentive. The 6,000 Avon Beauty Bosses in attendance collectively lost their minds with excitement!!


Avon is giving away a 6-day/5-night cruise to Bermuda on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas. The trip includes round-trip air transportation, round-trip ground transportation between airport and cruise ship, welcome and farewell reception, and the all-inclusive package as provided by cruise ship.

All Avon representatives are eligible to earn this amazing trip, by earning enough incentive points between Campaign 20 ’17  – Campaign 6 ’18 (Trendsetter C-22 ’17 – C-8 ’18). Points are earned through a variety of business-boosting activities, as shown below:


Accumulating 7,000 points during the incentive period earns you the cruise for one. The cruise for two can be earned with 11,000 points! Other fun rewards can be earned along the way!!

The best part about this incentive is that any Avon representative can earn this trip. This trip is not just for the top sellers or the top leaders. Any Avon beauty boss, who earns the necessary points, can Cruise Like a Boss this spring!

Are you ready to start earning your points??

Ok, so here’s the deal…

I’ve earned multiple Avon incentives during my four years with Avon. I’ve earned a 46″ HDTV, a Kitchenaid mixer, a Keurig Rivo, jewelry, and trips to Orlando, Mexico, and Atlantis in the Bahamas.

These incentives are very achievable, if you make a plan and stick with it. Now, let’s be real here… I’m not going to tell you that it’s going to be EASY to earn this cruise. It’s a CRUISE to BERMUDA!! Of course it’s going to be challenging to earn!! But you CAN earn it. I’m going to outline a few tips for approaching this incentive (and any Avon incentive, for that matter), along with five samples plans for accumulating 7,000 points within the incentive period.


TIP #1 – Start early and work as if you have half the time you really have!! You don’t want to find yourself scrambling for points at the end of the incentive period, without options for earning them. This incentive lasts for 13 campaigns, which is a very long time, but it will move surprisingly quick. Earn as many points as you can in the beginning of the incentive.

TIP #2 – Make a plan!! Most people will not accumulate 7,000 (trip for one) or 11,000 (trip for two) without some level of deliberate effort. Figure out how you will earn those points. What sales goals will you aim for? How many team members will you recruit? How will you get the necessary sales and team members? Make a plan, then get busy!

TIP #3 – Reevaluate your plan each campaign. Look for opportunities to earn more points. For example, are you close to advancing in title, which could earn you 1000 points? What actions can you take to make it happen? Do you have a team member you can mentor to advancing in title, which could earn you 500 points? Do you need to boost your sales, recruit more team members, or accelerate your pace? There will be a report in Vibe, where you can track your progress.

TIP #4 – Plan for more than you actually need. If you think you need 5 new team members to get the necessary points, plan to recruit 10. The reality of the situation is that regardless of how much effort you put into mentoring your new team members, some of them may not place the necessary order and some of them may not pay for their orders on time. Don’t let your success be determined by things you can not control. Give yourself a backup plan!

TIP #5 – Be willing to stretch outside of your comfort zone. In order to earn the necessary points for this incentive, you will likely have to stretch outside of your comfort zone and do things differently than you’ve been doing them. If you’re not currently selling at the $300 – $500 level, you’re going to need to take steps to find new customers and boost your sales. If you’ve never recruited a team member, you’re going to need to start approaching people. (Part of the points can be earned through sales, but there is no way to get enough points without recruiting team members and mentoring them to success.) It can be scary to do things differently than we’ve been doing them, but it can also be a tremendous learning opportunity, which can drastically alter our business success. The things that you do in working towards this incentive, will boost your business for the long-term!!

TIP #6 – Be determined. Do not give up after a couple campaigns if you have not yet succeeded in reaching the sales goals or recruiting new team members. If you’re slow out of the gate with earning points, step back, evaluate what you’ve been doing, and then make a plan to change your trajectory. Talk to your upline mentor if you’re struggling. Let them help you to make a plan to achieve your goals. YOU CAN DO THIS!!


Everything you do to earn this incentive is going to have a long-lasting positive impact on your business. You will find new customers, which will grow your sales and earnings campaign after campaign. You may reach President’s Club recognition level, and enjoy that 40% earnings the whole following year! You will find new team members and earn bonuses when they are successful, campaign after campaign. You may advance in leadership title and earn a higher % bonus, campaign after campaign.

Working towards this incentive will transform your business and boost your earnings! Through your sales earnings and the leadership program bonuses, you’ll be earning $$$ all along the way, as you work towards earning the cruise!


Here are five possible pathways to earning 7,000 points. Your actual pathway will likely be a combination of these plans, depending on your personal situation and preferences.

If you’d like to earn 11,000 points for the trip for two, you’ll want to increase the number of team members you plan to recruit. Also, remember Tip #4… Plan for more than you actually need.

With each plan, I’ve included an estimate of the bonuses and earnings you’ll get along the way.

**This plan is a good option for anyone who wants to push their personal sales and utilize the resource of ALMA (Avon-generated) leads to grow their team. Note: Personal recruits go farther with points than Avon-generated recruits, so a combination of both will move you along more quickly.
