​JUST ASK – I started my team when a friend of mine came to me and asked if I could sign her up to get started. Admittedly, my personal start with an Avon team is not necessarily typical. For most people, your first recruit isn’t going to come knocking at your door. YOU need to go knocking on THEIRS! 
If you want to start or grow an Avon team, become comfortable with asking people if they’re be interested in learning more about getting started with their own Avon business. 

Try some of these conversation starters:
  • Have you ever thought about starting your own Avon business? It’s fun and flexible and easy to get started with! 
  • Want to learn more about how you can save up some extra money for that vacation you’ve been wanting to take?
  • Did you know that you can save on your own purchases, and make some extra money on your customers’ purchases?
  • Would you be interested in taking a few brochures to try to collect some order?
Remember, the worst thing that’s going to happen is someone will tell you they’re not interested. So what if they do?? Move on to the next person. Eventually, you’re going to get a YES, then another YES, and then another!
Once you find someone who is interested, send them to www.startavon.com. Tell them to be sure to use your reference code. (Your reference code is the same as whatever comes past the / in your webstore address. If you’re not sure what it is, ask me.) Once you get the email saying you have a successful self-appointment, be sure to let me, or your immediate upline, know right away. We can help you to get them started with Avon!!
