KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE! – Like any business, Avon has its highs and lows throughout the year. Summer can sometimes be a slower sales time for many representatives. School is out, people are on vacation, our minds and bodies slip into summer mode. We get busy and may not work our business the best we can. Our customers get busy too, and may lose track of when orders are due.
You may feel disappointed by your slipping sales during the summer, but KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE. Come September, the Avon holiday line hits the brochures and that is when many representatives see their sales easily double or triple!!
In the mean time, stay focused on maintaining your existing customers. Make sure everyone gets a brochure every campaign, even if they don’t always place an order. Let them know you are open for business. Be especially consistent with order reminders, so your customers know when your order is being submitted. Focus on relevant, summer products and daily care items. Bug Guard and the Sun+ items are wonderful! Customers need shampoo, skin care, and body wash all year long! Talk about those items, offer special incentives, offer samples!
