The start of a new year is the perfect time for reflecting on the previous year and setting goals for the new year.
When you think about your Avon business in the past year, what aspects make you proud? What aspects would you like to change or improve?
With Avon, YOU are the boss! That means that YOU set your goals and YOU decide how you’d like to achieve them. YOU are in control.
Wish you had more customers? Get out there and find them!
Wish you were earning more? Give yourself a raise!
Not happy with your current Avon routine? Change it up!
Anything is possible with your Avon business. Set your goals high, make a plan for achieving them, then get started! I’m here to help you out along the way!
With that in mind, here are a few business-boosting resolutions I’d like to suggest for the new year. Put these tips into action and you’ll be on the road to success!
Resolution #1 – Submit an order every campaign.
Are you required to submit an order every campaign? Nope! It’s completely up to you when you do and don’t submit an order. (You’re the boss!) You can actually skip up to 6 consecutive campaigns and still maintain an active account. BUT… a consistent routine has huge perks for your business. It provides a fast turnaround for your customers, ensures that you always have the latest brochures, lets customer know you are open for business, and keeps you updated on upcoming products (through the What’s New catalog that comes in your order).
Resolution # 2 – Promote your web store at least once a week.
Direct delivery orders through your web store mean easy money in your pocket. Avon handles everything. YOU get the earnings. All you need to do is to get people to view and shop your web store. And the best way to do that is to advertise your web store on social media, like Facebook. Avon has even provided us with a Social Media Center (located in the Web Office section of youravon.com) and a Social Media Center app for your smartphone, to make promoting our web stores easy as can be!
Resolution #3 – Order more brochures than you’re currently ordering.
Brochures are our stores! Want more customers, so you can get higher earnings? Get more people to “walk” through your Avon store. Give brochures to all of your former customers, PLUS new potential customers every single campaign, even if they don’t order every single campaign.
Resolution #4 – Find at least ONE new customer each campaign.
Talk to new people about Avon every campaign. Make it a goal of collecting an order from one new customer each campaign. By the end of the year, you could have 26 new people on your customer list! Most customers won’t order every campaign, so to build a strong, consistent business, we need lots of customers, who each order occasionally throughout the year.
Resolution #5 – Use Avon products.
If you’re not already using Avon products for yourself, start using them! It’s a fantastic way to get to know the products (which will make them easier for you to sell). Plus, you might as well enjoy the discount you get shopping through your own business! Why spend your money buying shampoo, deodorant, skincare, body wash, etc. at some other business, when YOUR business offers all of those items at great prices??
The Anew skincare line is amazing, and coming up soon, Avon will introduce the new Nutra Effects skincare line. Use Avon skincare, then share your firsthand experience with everyone you know. Skincare customers are repeat customers, who will come back to you again and again to replenish their products!
Resolution #6 – Share the opportunity!!
As you talk to people about Avon, be sure you’re always letting them know that you can help them to buy OR SELL Avon! Who do you know who could use some extra money? Ask them if they’d like to be an Avon beauty boss! Through Avon’s Kickstart program, they can earn OVER $1000 in their first 6 campaigns!! Sharing the Avon opportunity with others is another way that YOU can increase your bonuses and earnings with Avon!

Resolution #7 – Stay informed.
Keep up to date on the latest Avon incentives, product news, training and more. There are so many resources available to you. Read the Avon representative news email which is sent out each Monday (and can also be found on youravon.com). Participate in the conference calls and webinars offered by me, your other uplines, or Avon directly. Attend local rallies or meetings hosted by your district manager. Watch the Campaign Central video each campaign. Complete online trainings in the Avon University section of youravon.com. The more informed you are, the better prepared you’ll be to reach your goals!
